Curly: Coughing and acting like she is choking.
Mom: "What's wrong honey? Are you alright?" in my reassuring Mother voice that tells her it's not a big deal.
Curly: "Yeah. I'm okay Mom. I was just choking on my gums."
She proceeds to point to her teeth and her actual gums...as opposed to chewing gum that she must have heard someone refer to choking on. We aren't really chewing gum people.
And check out those rosy "post-nap" cheeks! Aren't they pink!

I was alarmed too when I saw the title of this post! I know some days are rough, but to have the daily topic be my daughter choking!? Quite humorous indeed. Silly kid.
