Prayer for Gramps

Please be in prayer for Gramps. I got word last night that he was working on a project at a friend's house and had an incident with a saw. He is now lacking his index finger and half of the middle finger on his left hand. The middle finger might have been "fixable" for lack of a better word, but the index finger is gone.

Please be in prayer for our Gramps with recovery and also dealing with a new way of functioning.

We love you Gramps! Curly told me, "It's okay Mama, somebody will fix it." =)

Praying for Gramps! :(

Also, the picture of Curly made me laugh. I could totally imagine her getting this look when you told her about Gramps' fingers.

Feel better soon, Gramps!!!!

Dad's hands were always beautiful (in a very manly way) and they are always warm no matter how cold the weather. This may turn out to be a good thing when it comes to his healing...the doctors were pleased with his great circulation especially for a fellow of his age.

He has always used his hands to help serve. He can fix most anything (excluding computors) and his hands (not to mention brains, charm and general likeability) fed clothed and housed his family while raising four children and helping raise grandchildren. He still uses his hands to help take care of the widows and single moms and elderly in his comunity by providing many "handyman" services (no pun intended) around town. What a guy!
We love you Gramps (Dad)! recover quickly. We will miss your finger with you, but we are glad it was a finger and not a vital organ.

One finger will not slow this man down for very long I assure you!
